These kids will have the feds knocking on their doors. Illegal considering neither party knew about it. NY needs both parties to have consent, FL only needs one.

I don’t know why everyone is saying he embarrassed us. Nix spoke the truth and he was a victim here. I think this is great. We are getting publicity other than losing, signing poor players to monstrous contracts and wide right jokes. I’ll take it!
It’s not embarrassing that our GM doesn’t even understand how a fucking telephone works yet is in charge of talent acquisition on multi-million dollar company that receives TONS of taxpayer money?
And yeah, the deadspin guys are going to end up in a bunch of trouble over this.
Bucs GM was born in 1971. Not too old himself and he got it too. I think it could have happened to anyone, just these 2 guys were on the wrong end.

heard part of the story on the radio, then heard the release minutes after the event, I didn’t really understand what they did, but it was genius, stupid, illegal, immoral, but genius.

I did this prank with direcTV and time warner back when the thread was active. the timing was difficult and I could not use the website to generate the calls. We just conference the calls in. Getting through the TWC phone system was the most difficult. It did make me laugh because the 2 agents were definitely confused. The DirecTV agent handled it very professionally though and quickly ended the call. Perhaps this is not so uncommon.
