The deed is done...

haha, kids… someday you’ll get it.

Good Luck Sean, too bad I didn’t get to race you with a good clutch.

1.) Someday, you’ll realize that renting an apartment is NO DIFFERENT than renting a car. Would you not buy your car, rather than rent it? When all is said and done, you own nothing with an apartment. In fact, the cost of owning a house is LESS than renting an apartment. Do some research if you find that hard to believe.

2.) Hopefully you’ll see some change in your spelling of “preference,” though.

its like leasing a house…lets spend all this money on something and after a year or two have NOTHING to show for it…and then repeat the cycle…

so in 20 years after my house is paid for, you’ll still be paying someone month to month while i’ll be living for free…i like my choice better

mike, when did you come get your DR’s? i left the same morning i got back to go to my cousins house in albany and just got back today, but noticed some bald ass drags sitting in the trash :stuck_out_tongue:

got any parts left? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve done my research and found that statement to be completely false…

  1. My rent is less than half the cost of a mortgage on a place of similar size once property taxes are included.
  2. I don’t have to own any of the following: Lawnmower, snowblower, leaf blower.
  3. You have to live in a house for about 7 years before your mortgage is paying anything but the interest on the loan.
  4. My free time is valuable to me. I work at work. Where I get paid to do so. Not at home, where it would undoubtedly be costing me money, as well as time I could be spending at work, on overtime, making more money.
  5. I don’t have to deal with the large, unexpected costs of home repairs, like when your roof needs replacing or your basement floods.

:gotme:

Not exactly… you’ll still be paying property tax. Which at the rate Erire County is going, in 20 years will probably be way more than my rent. :stuck_out_tongue:

two words = personal equity :stuck_out_tongue:

not to mention the fact that you OWN the place your living at. bret u really think your landlord wont pass along the tax hike to you in your rent?

Not at all, in fact, I’m still waiting for him to raise my rent. It hasn’t changed in the 7 years I’ve been here.

good man then

thats really surprising… most landlords will pass the hike on, lucky for you :stuck_out_tongue:

knock on wood every morning for good measure
