pop goes the tranny = tranny oil on the road… it happens but i dont think over reaction and over correction by the driver was not at play here, it seems as if the engine survived the issue
it’s a fwd car. engine braking that hard has potential to cause the back end to come around hard.
it’s the same reason that “lift oversteer” occurs…
