This was all last summer ('09). I drove it once and never again. Stopped working on it all fall and winter. I picked up again early april of this year ('10) and decided to start fresh.

That’s it for now. What are my plans?

-fresh new paint
-suspension setup for auto-x/track
-some kind of tune
-get interior and exterior sexy looking
-clean up engine bay
-GSR tranny w/ LSD and LS fifth gear
-new parts

Essentially, it’ll be an older car, whose purpose will be DD/weekend warrior, with many new parts. There’s no ETA and no “set budget” (basically, be as cheap as possible while not sacrificing quality and reliability). Current cost of this build is like $1700. I still have a long way to go.

You’re certainly headed in the right direction.

I love it man!! I had a 91 Integra as my first car, loved that thing. Keep up the great work.

Looks like she put up a fight?..lol, Good build so far!

Looks like you saved that one, awesome.

X…

She gave up more then a fight…it was a battle lol…
first it didnt fit with the dc headers so we had to take the header off…then put it in but it would fit without removing some other parts lol…

Then the dam headgasket was put on wrong…arghhh lol but in the end its in there and runs but needs some work on idling problem as i dont know anything for that intake manifold [ where all the wires goes] lol

For sure, nice work man!

Def. looking forward to seeing this project, good job so far…

wow, looking good man…you are deffinatly doing a good job turning this thing around, im looing forward to more updates

Thanks guys. Yeah, getting the motor in was a toughie. Next time I’ll know how to do it right at least lol

WOOT WOOT.

And yay to finally getting a nice camera! Goodness gracious these pics are clear!

EDIT: just for reference -
http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm309/thach2010/IMG00819.jpg

the good thing about ricer cars is they are usually rust free because they aren’t driven in the winter lol

man looking at all those wire reminds me of how much i have left to do on my car. last time i checked i have only 1 wire left in the car and it was for the battery

All that wiring sucks balls.

That’s next for me, not looking forward to it.

Any updates?

I wish! I was gonna pull the motor today but some things came up. Everything’s off, just gotta pull it. Hopefully there should be updates tomorrow or Monday. Thanks to longuyen88 for helping out today!

Picked up new hatch struts, heater core, fuse box cover, and 90-91 bumper blocks at the junkyard

Upcoming plans are
-clean up engine bay
-clean up/check motor and separate trans and motor
-finish prepping interior for paint

I also had a change of heart. Instead of just dropping the B16A back in, I think I’m gonna go with a poor man’s type r setup, using the head off of the B16 I have now, then sourcing a GSR block and GSR transmission. I dunno about any specifics as I’m gonna finish the car first then worry about this.

Any advice on the motor build would be very welcome!

let jesus guide you…look at the last picture of that human size jesus portrait lol!! good job man. if you can do it all your self you can do anythign!!!

Lol yes! I found that in the garage when I cleaned it and figured it would give the garage some life while letting jesus watch over me lol. Thanks, man.

Good progress and it looks loads better than when you first got it!
