i apologize if this has been covered before but my 4s (with ios 5.1) has been freezing a ton as of the past month.
also before you suggest to close out the apps be advised i ALWAYS double close out of apps when im done rather than let them run in the background and eat up my battery life.
Closing out apps really shouldn’t matter much because 99% of apps get suspended when they’re put in the background.
Hook it back up to the computer, do a backup, then restore to factory and re-sync through itunes.
Is it jailbroken? Just wondering why you haven’t upgraded to ios6.

i just sync’d it last night to put new music on. ill have to try it again tonight
Not just a sync. Right click on it in iTunes and do a restore, after you do a backup of course.
Whenever I sync my phone my notes always suffer. I get duplicates as “sync notes” suggests. But I also have a ton of notes deleted.
I want my notes to be backed up on my computer: but I want my computer to take the notes I have on my phone, not apply old notes and doubles.
When I sync my apps I can “apply” the new format or “revert” to the old one. How do I do that with notes?

THANK GOD. I’m incredibly disappointed in Apple maps. I can’t believe they actually let it on the phone in it’s current form.
I installed it today. It is great and slick but I will miss the Siri in my car being able to pull up a map to a location via voice. I never had a problem with Google maps until I was out in California and Colorado. Was shocked how off the maps were.

Got a iPhone 4 with a spider crack in the corner, but it much less noticeable with a case on it (2 small lines in the bottom right corner). Is it worth fixing before selling? I guess my question is it worth the investment to fix it? ie is it worth $150 cracked, $100 to fix ? and worth $225 with a good screen. Feel free to help me with all 3 numbers and if you have a recommendation for someone to fix the screen let me know.
