Probably have someone in the group chat that isn’t on iMsg.
The only one that pisses me off is the text message groups that send you replies from random people I don’t know. I love the 6 plus but I honestly can’t stand iOS 8. Wifi issues, app crashing, lags randomly. They really need to make some fixes for 8.1
…8.2 is out nvm lol 8.0.2 is out hahah

I’ve had zero issues with Apple’s core functionality since 8.0.2 (wifi, calls, Safari, sms/mms, camera etc). As it keep getting more and more app updates for ios8 I’ve noticed they aren’t crashing either (thechive, gmail, chrome, Facebook, google maps, spotify etc).
The auto app scaling was really poor though. If you’ve got a 6+ and an app that hasn’t been updated for it the text size is huge and looks terrible.
Battery life has been great. On a typical day I’m getting home with about 70-80 percent. Even on days I use it a lot I’m still around 50 when I plug in at night. That’s going without plugging in at all during the day or any kind of app closing or featuring disabling I had to do with my S3 just to make it through a day.
Well I was going to buy/upgrade to the 6+ but my computer was being slow and running like shit. I have malware bytes but I guess I’m not nerdy enough to figure out the problem.
is it worth upgrading a 5S to a 6?
I say yes, the speed alone was worth the upgrade and the screen is deff a big improvement

It’s a decent screen upgrade. Speed wise I doubt you’ll notice that much because the 5s isn’t slow.
i honestly hate the size of this thing and i just have a regular 6.
Too big?
i think I’m going blind using my iPhone 4S! And it’s been running so slow lately I just found out when I registered it for trade in that its a 4S and not a regular 4. I forgot what it even was lol
Looks like work is buying me a 16GB iPhone 6, so I’m leaving the android world (at least for now). My first iPhone, we’ll see how the transition goes.
yeah far too big for my liking.
the 5s was perfect.
the only reason I upgraded is because I now save $30/mo (had to switch to a new phone plan which meant having to upgrade my device)
I have the s5 and can’t wait to downsize to the 6.
Anyone try out Apple Pay yet? Quite a few places already accepting it, including Wegmans.

Just essentially NFC right?
Similar situation. First Apple product actually so we will see how this goes. Wife’s was free, $200 4S trade in deal.
I was going nuts trying to figure out why Passbook wasn’t in my settings, but you have to update to 8.1 first. :banghead:
Added my Amex and it showed the last purchase was 7 minutes ago at Sunoco for $56.11. That was the wife getting gas on her way to work. Pretty cool that it displays the last trans like that.
Had this thing a little over a week now, still weird to me. It won’t reply to Facebook comments, never gives me the option to “Post” just a “Done” option that doesn’t go anywhere. I thought the notifications on the lock screen would allow me to go right to the message by tapping on them (and unlocking the phone obviously), but it doesn’t. When I open a text message, sometimes it goes to the default keyboard instead of my Swype and there is no option to switch it unless I get out of the message and go back in. Just having the Home button is different too, backing up a screen to another application doesn’t happen. Unless I haven’t figured that one out yet…
Calls are great, battery is great, camera is great, screen is great, sound gets muffled easily if you are a dummy and forget to take your hand off the speaker on the bottom. No real complaints, just a lot of “new to me” stuff to get familiar with.
As far as the keyboard issue idk but the switching app quickly say if your in safari and get a text just double press home button and it will zoom out to show all open and runnin apps and u can just press the one you want ie messages and replay then double tap again and back in safari.
