its real simple for tmobile. just google pwnage 2.0.1 or whatever your running. then just follow instructions. Only problem i had was getting Edge to work with internet. but boxxa fixed that for me in about 2 secs after we figured out what was going wrong

all i remember is you half to enter a website on you iphone. so oyu need to be in a location with wireless and the 4.99 plan or the 19.99 plan for internet. i think the 4.99 one works just fine. im sure boxxa can name the site for me bc im a loss rigfht now
I’ll have to find it later when I get home. It was just a site to reconfigure your WAP settings so you can use EDGE for Internet on your phone.
firmware 2.1 jailbroken. Took a little more work than the GUI tools for the past versions but I got by Cydia back for my jail break apps which all seem to work.
As for the update I have noticed my sync is quicker with my iTunesand contacts now are fast and don’t lock up but beyond that I don’t see any changes to the battery life. I did drive from buffalo to Rochester and seemed to kick between EDGE and 3G pretty good.
so the iphone has a App called Flutter. it lets you sent pic mail to phones. its free right now. only prob is it hosts the pic online so whoever you send it to needs to have internet on there phone
wow running 2.1 non jailbroken with 3 downloaded apps from the appstore and have more crashes than ever. Today alone shazam, safari, and even the iPod is fucking crashing. Had the whole phone lock up twice today too.
I’m about ready to get rid of this piece of shit. Each firmware is getting progressivley worse IMO. Jailbroken 2.0 was the only load that was ok.
Oh good news is I can see and select contacts now with out it freezing. But keys stick down on a ducking touch screen keyboard. Ugh.
I’m still running 2.0 I think it’s the best out so far I don’t think I’m gunna update to 2.1

+1. Upgraded to 2.1 last night and so far it’s great. Zero lag going into contacts, no crashes with Safari. Hasn’t dropped a call either but I wasn’t having dropped call issues on 2.0.2.
3g still sucks though, but it’s not an iphone issue because it all depends on time of day. Last night 200 kB/s. Just now 16 kB/s. Tested at testmyiphone.com.

yeah i was on a webpage that used it and said my ver was older, so i went and tried to upgrade it
