and it doesnt work using just smtp i have to use atts smtp server.
I highly doubt that it works like that. ATT using their hardware and servers to forward so you can use your own mail account? Not only is it a privacy issue but they also buy hardware, manage it, and deal with the bandwidth so you can use a third party email?
How do you know that its using ATTs when you add your own?
Probably a stupid question, but I can’t figure out how to connect to my internet at home.
I have a wireless router. The iTouch sees it and shows signal, but won’t transfer data because I’m not sure which password to use for it.
I tried my admin password for the router and that didn’t work. I also tried the 28 (I think) digit character and that didn’t work either.
What ya think?

try logging into your router from your computer to see if it’s showing the phone as being connected on wifi.
The password is the wireless key you used to have your laptops connect at home.

Ya it will save it once it logs in to your wireless and if you leave wireless on, anytime you are in range it will connect.
My iPhone + Sidewalk = Broke.

Ya I filed a claim and waiting to hear back. I am hoping that I can get it taken care of ASAP.
I think I need to find my receipt for my phone to send to the insurance company so I hope it is at home in the bag where my phone is.

Accidentally. It still works. I am just more concerned with how this insurance company is gonna handle it. I have accidental damage coverage but its gonna suck if they make me send it in first and I have to wait without a ego boosting sexy phone.
Wow big thumbs up to Apple store. I lost my reciept for my iPhone and need it to file my insurance claim through Square Trade. I called them and gave them the credit card over the phone and they offered to print it, mail it, or email it to me. I asked them to email it and within 10 minutes I had a PDF of my original reciept.
Anytime I have called them, they have always been helpful. I am seeing why the consumer base for home computers is so into Apple since they seem to really support their customers more than a Windows PC that you buy from Circuit City and are on your own with.

So far with the claim, I filed it late thursday night, they responded Friday afternoon asking for my reciept copy (which I should have scanned when I first got the policy) and replied with the PDF from the Apple store with my reciept. Hopefully by Monday afternoon I will have more information and how they are going about fixing/replacing this.
