Y not just get the app crack through cydia and download it right through iTunes?
because to download it through itunes cost $100?
sorry not what i meant, through cydia there is a repo that lets u instill cracked apps from itunes, and its way faster that way, just get the IPA. file for any app and open it into itunes and sync the repo is cydia.hackulo.us and the app is Appsync for OS 3.0

yea, if there is anything specific u need let me know. also if u search iphone ipa cracked apps as a torrent there is a DL with about 600 or so apps
tried out the tomtom app yesterday coming home from the fair and its ok, very similar to sygaic but it seems tomtom has a little slower rerouting than sygaic but the POI are definitely a lot better and i do like that it tells you how long until you reach your destination.but what i dont like is that it does not say the street name or highway you are suppose to turn down and no speed limit warning when you are going over. for $100 i would have expected a lot more, i will probably keep both apps on my phone as i really dont like one more than the other just yet
First thing I did was turn off the annoying speed limit thing in sygic so I don’t miss it.
Any Sygic’s attempts at reading streets was just annoying. “Turn left on C-O-U-N-T-Y H-W-Y 265”.
yeah i know what you mean but that was useful driving through ohio last week when there were about 4 ramps you could get on at one point
yea i had the tomtom going today around town and wow it really lagged. i think im gunna stick with the sygic. iv used all 3 now and i think thats my fav. maybe when the tomtom dock comes ill depending on the price ill try that
So today i bought a 3GS, i have to say… going from the Edge Network straight to the 3GS was amazing! I figured i would go with the 3gs because i would be stuck in a contract for 2 years any ways. When i unlocked my 2G phone after adding apps and themes it slowed down alot, so i figure the 3g wont slow down as much if i ever decide to jail break, but i kinda dont want to i like the phone alot…
So my 2g is unlocked and jailbroke, im thinking of selling it on ebay or something, i wonder what i could get, all it needs is a new digitizer, or should i fix it first and then sell… what do you think?
i know peoplw are still trying to sell em for 250-300 on ebay. im sure you could get 150 for it in that shape
all i got on ebay for mine that had a broken digitizer was $80
It was a 2g? My old iPhone has the metal case, hmm well I’ll have to try to take all the contacts and stuff off of it
So far the only App I have bought from the AppStore is Gpush now that its working. Been playing with the cracked version of it to confirm it actually does as it says and works pretty well for Push notifications of email.
It works great, sometimes. “50% of the time it works everytime” kind of thing.
Their blog says they’re working on it though.
after carefully looking at my firmware files, i was using the 3.0 for the 2g.
works better when you use the correct firmware file… :banghead:
