The last movie you've seen, and rate it.

Thanks to a previous post, I just saw this over the weekend.
Really good. Can’t remember any other movie over the past 12 months I’ve liked more.

I got a copy of Taken a few weeks ago and it was the best movie I’ve seen in a while…

I just saw in the ad for Taken that it was by the same guy who did Transporter.

I just don’t understand. How can you put out a movie as bad as The Transporter and then put out a movie as good as Taken. Ranks up there with OJ not guilty and people who think 9/11 was a government conspiracy… IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!

Just watched pineapple express last night… enjoyed it alot, would give it an 8/10 probably

luc besson is a mastermind. allow him the transporter crap.
in return you got:
taken, la femme nikita, the big blue, the professional, and the fifth element

gran torino, 9/10. surprised that clint is that old and can still make a good movie.

Dark city is super weird, but pretty awesome.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

5/10

That rating might even be a little high. Seth Rogen was the only one worth watching in the film and that was primarily do to his vulgar language and clever double entendres; most of which ended about 20-30 minutes into the movie. I wasn’t expecting much from this movie mostly because I’ve seen Seth Rogen’s other disappointments.

Yet again we see Craig Robinson’s shitty comedic skills in this movie. Not to mention the for-some-reason reoccurring appearance of Elizabeth Banks who does not need to be in any more films.

Training Day - 8.7/10 such a great movie even the 3rd time round

Has anyone seen the Wrestler? I’m thinking about going to the amherst tonight

From the trailer and all the hype it seems you won’t be disappointed.

my rents saw it, were very excited about going to see it but then never heard from them about it… guessing that means it was just “ok”

One of my faves.

Revolutionary Road 9/10

It’s intense. And very real life.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

9/10

Movie set through the eyes of Bruno, an 8 year old, during World War II. His father is a commandant at a concentration camp, where Bruno ends up making friends with a boy on the other side of the fence. Horribly dark, but if your intellect is anywhere over that of a 10 year old, it should make a pretty profound impact on you. I watched it three days ago and I still can’t get it out of my head.

7 pounds: 9/10

Epic sad tear jerker. Really original, fantastic acting. A little vague in setup.

sounds great im gonna check that out

LITTLE MONSTERS

9.4235/10

x2, sounds interesting. I like those types of movies

The Good Humor Man 7.5/10

I thought it was interesting, takes place in the 70’s and had some interesting takes on society and growing up. Nothing spectacular, more along a weekday special :stuck_out_tongue:

Frost/Nixon

8.5/10

It was a reeeaaallllly solid movie. Be warned though: you’re not going to be seeing anything ground-breaking or action packed; it’s just a really well put-together film about Frost’s interview with Nixon and how he got him to apologize to the American people- something no one else could get him to do.

I loved it.

 Ron Howard
