i saw this like 2 months ago, and gave the heads up on how good it was. and yes it definitely makes you wanna beat the shit out of something. lol i loved how action packed it gets.
just watch Gran Torino due to all the hype in this thread… my expectations were 5/10 but after watching I would give a solid 9/10. even my girlfriend liked it and I’m pretty sure her expectation was a 0/10.
Saw it like a week ago. It was awesome. I’d give it a 9/10.

Good war type drama about soldiers in a bomb squad in Iraq. Pretty good acting, could have used more ation, but all in all it was good.

Paul walker is never going to be scary, no matter how hard he tries, he just cannot be intimidating.
This movie went from absolute fail to good in about 10 seconds, with epic shark bites, shotgun tipped harpoons and exploding oxygen tanks.
The last 30 minutes was good, lots of continuity errors but, oh well.
I rented for the purpose that it was suppose to be a very good looking blu-ray, and it was, It was probably one of the best blu-rays ive seen.
Southland Tales 8.5/10. Another Richard Kelly Written/Directed movie(Donnie Darko). Great cast with tons of big name/talent and it is another love it or hate it movie. I thought it was great but it does require a lot of attention like his other works.
