The Melting Pot v Big Night Out?

Anyone done this? Been talking about it on the radio and never been to it.

The link to the menu is here: http://themeltingpot.com/download.aspx?q=89&r=77

Have different multi course meals starting at $79 per couple.

I have been, do a search on here for reviews…it was really good, a little pricy but very good and nice for a date

restaurant.com has discount gift certs for that joint.

word of advice if you are going with like 6 people, order 4 meals… its more than enough because you get unlimited amounts of veggies and bread and crap.

yea - i’m cheap wanna fight about it?

edit: also don’t wear heavy clothes i remember the first time i went sweating balls.

I tried taking my girl last night for her birthday. It was a wed and they were booked. LOL. Make sure you make reservations. My sis went said it was great

:thankyou:

I have heard it was good for couples

I had a work party there for my department and it was fucking horrible…

tons of money and i left hungry… wanted to go to eat after lol

too many little gay finger foods.

Yeah it’s great for couples on dates but I can’t really think of a worse place for any sort of formal/work related function.

The whole point of a work dinner is to mingle, meaning eat quickly without getting shit on your shirt or having to be stuck in your seat next to any single person for any longer than absolutely necessary and then get on to the drinking.

oh shut up

I’ve been to the one in Framingham, it isn’t bad… Good desserts.

I’ve been there before for the broads birthday.Food was amazing, pricey. But you get what you pay for with fine dining.Too bad i had to rush when i was there to make a sabres game, so I couldn’t really enjoy it.

Fuck that place. expect a minimum of 3 hours EATING TIME. People go in there after they valet and come back 5 hours later.

my buddy mike manages this joint

that is somewhat true. The waitresses do take forever to come back to your table and shit to give you the check or order, but it is busy alot.

It’s not even the waitresses, it’s the fact that you have to cook your food in the cheese that takes forever.

That’s kind of the point of the place.

Its worth the wait. You cook the food the way you want it, in the cooking style that you want.(Cajun, jamacian, etc)

Yea I am kinda going for that. Get to sit and spend time with the lady to chat since I have been swamped at work and such. Not really looking for a quick in and out dinner.

True, I guess when I go out to eat I want my food asap so I can shovel it in. LOL.

went there a few weeks ago with the girlfriend. Food was awesome and it was a great experience. go on a weds night (ladies night) and its buy one, get one specialty drinks.

big  for a special occasion…unless you can afford to drop $100+ for a regular night out

as far as the time goes…total meal was about 2 hours with a reservation…
