I saw this article a while back and a coworker was talking about this system this morning. I dug it back up for him to read and figured I’d post it here. It’s a pretty entertaining read if ya got the time.
In a nut shell, Commodore is making gaming PC’s similar to AlienWare these days and wanted [H] to do a review on it without sending them the actual hardware, while claiming 30% more performance than it’s competitors with off the shelf parts (no overclocking). Over a week or so of talking back and forth with PR, the editor becomes frustrated and actually starts posting emails/voicemails from the company who are also a little pissed that he wont review their system based on their claims.
