So after having my Legacy Outback wrecked when some lady cut across 2 lanes of traffic in front of me, I used the check from her insurance company as a down payment on a dark grey metallic 2013 Subaru Impreza Premium.
No crazy things planned for it, just looking into wheels maybe, some light tint and other minor things. Just going to enjoy it without dumping tons of money into it…at least I am telling myself that. Which is why I didn’t get the WRX, less tempting to dump money into it performance wise.
I didn’t even realize I had a fellow shifter in the dealership, if I would have known I would have kept the stickers and frames off for you! Looks great, enjoy the mpg!

I totally agree, which is mostly the reason I went with it. I mean my wife has an 09 Forester and I didn’t want another SUV but I know how great these cars are all around, crash ratings are great and after my last accident I’m all about how safe a car is now. But I love having AWD and when I can have that and still get mid 30 MPG’s I am very happy.
I’m sure I will be there taking advantage of my free weekly car washes in the winter to keep the car somewhat salt free in good old NYS. I’ll also be in for my 30 day check up on Sept 20th.
