The new Ferrari 458 replaces F430... :)

I just watched that video with the sound off bc I’m in class. I’ll probably never forgive myself…

I reeeeeally like the rear end and side profile. Mmmm

Dont really like the lines, but the motor specs are fantastic. I saw the f430 Scuderia at the LA auto show, and it was amazing, the f458 not so good

I can’t believe this thread has made it this far without the OP making yet another ridiculous implication that he is going to buy this within the next 6 months like he typically does.

I think it looks great from a lot of angles. The gauges look wierd and the 3 tail pipes don’t do it for me.

On a related note, the car in the post above was at my work the other day… 2 days later there was a 599GTB

Two days, two pairs of wrecked pants.

The Scuderia is way sexier IMO

I’m aware. It was built for Jim Glickenhaus by Pinanfarina (mostly), but did get factory support from Ferrari as well. They learned a lot with that particular car. Seeing it was built on the Enzo chassis, Yet all aero dynamic propertoes were better than that of the Enzo. Drag, Downforce and cooling.

You are nuts if you don’t think that the development of the P4/5 didn’t play a roll in why the 458 looks the way it does.

If you are aware you probably should have worded your post that way.

Yeah, the 4/5 had an influence on the 458 BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH DESIGNED IN HOUSE AT PINANFARINA NOT FERRARI.

I’d bet you guys can figure out if I like this or not.

oh my god… that would be the most fun day of filming anyone could ever experience

Mauh, while I do tend to voice my opinions on what I would like to do, I change my mind more often then a 7 year old with ADD. I’d never personally buy a new Ferrari, because I could never really afford to, unless I didn’t own a house. I don’t think I’ve ever stated that I am anytime in the near future going to buy a new one. I did think about a used 360 for a little while, but I scratched that idea. I still am thinking about buying a DB7 as a house warming present to myself though, either that or building up my vette some more. I do want another special car in my life, and my goal is set pretty high for number two.

Love the videos. I wish I could get the auto industry somehow involved in my career, but I don’t see that ever being in the cards.
