The new GTRs are here. Too bad none are ours

Big thanks to West End Nissan for letting us whore up there service bay while Steve, Chris and Myself strobed the living hell out of it with our cameras. I can’t remember the guy’s name that let us in but I’m sure Steve does right? lol

I only know the back of the head.
But seriously, I don’t remember his name. If I remember I will post it.

so can i buy one now then?:stuck_out_tongue:

Are there any left for sale?

You can put your name on a long list :001_tt2:
All those cars were pre-sold 2yrs ago :001_smile:

If you tell the girl at the front you own 1 she will sleep with you. Guaranteed. lol

Haha, I should’ve continued with the story how I really wanted one and my dream came true.

I saw a silver one at Mills Nissan on Friday afternoon, parked curbside on the north side of the showroom.

I haven’t changed my mind. It’s still an ugly car IMO.

Is it just me…or does this one apear to have tiny scratches on the hood? I’m sure im just trippin out? lol…

Looks like there was some dust from transport, then rain hit it a little bit and it dripped.

Nah no scratches, the cars are actually quite dirty… you would think West End would have them spotless… also you would think that West End would be selling those cars for the list price, not $120 000! after the sales guy told me that i made a call down to a dealership in Dallas, Texas and they have a black one on the lot for $83 000. If I was buying one I think I would bring it across the boarder… dunno how hard that is with new cars though.

that would be the dumbest thing to do is buy a brand new GTR from the states when u can get one here for 89g’s at sherwood nissan… then again u will be waiting 2 years on back order…

buying from the states u pay the cost of tax on the car and all that mumbo jumbo for a car u can get here might as well get here… but for a car u cant get here examle evo8 then by all means

id buy one if the tranny lasted more than 15 launches.

Not to mention that Canada only carry’s/sells the top model fully loaded GTR. The USA has 2 or 3 different models that they sell… I was told this buy a guy who owns one and he waited two years for his

RIGHT GOT SER the USmodel GTR’s were restricted somewat just like japan’s…

it sounds like sherwood nissan is giving better deals than west end… I figured it wasn’t hard to import new cars from the states cause people are always doing it with corvette’s cause its way cheaper, so i assumed the same for GTR’s (I mean I’m talking about a $40 000 difference!!)… The car i was talking about was on the lot, so no waiting 2 years for your ride… but hey if i was in anyway capable of purchasing a GTR, i would wait for the V-Spec anyway. (or build an R32 that is faster)

^ I personaly will never go to purchase aything from West End Nissan (I know there is lots of fans for them here). They may have changed since I have dealt with them years ago…but doesnt sound like it from the pricing on the GTR. Im a Sherwood Nissan Fanboy myself. But I will see my car is in the shop for warranty work on the struts so I will see how that goes

wellps new news to me… NIssan canada had a board meeting with all of the nissan managers and from nissan are to ONLY SELL GTR’S NO LOWER THAN 120,000…thats retarded… last i heard from one of my buddies at shwerwood nissan tehy were selling with no markup…

must find out more!!!
