Wow. As a very brief review, I loved it. I haven’t been following the new car scene now due to focusing on other priorities, didn’t know it even existed, but i was very impressed with the new X5 ///M series.
Took the X5 M for a spin…GOBS OF POWER. Very comparable handling performance to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, but with MUCH better interior styling. Very quick throttle response. I mean come on…it’s a 4.4ish 0-60 SUV.
BiTurbo V8
550+hp, 500+tq.
Holy shit to the 315’s tires on the back… it looks so agressive in person. In pictures, the size of the rubbers just make the truck look smaller.
This is interesting. For the longest time BMW’s philosophy was they wouldn’t do an M version of their X-series for fear of diluting the M badge. They must have either really upped performance to meet their M standards or have sacrificed their standards on the altar of marketing. From your review it seems the former.
I really don’t know what to think about it. I never liked the older x5 or x3, but the newer x5 looks and drives nicer then I thought it would. Don’t know if I’d ever want to own one.
