is the k-pro ecu an adaptive trim ecu, or is it like a stand alone where what you see is what you get. my car consistanly monitors conditions and adds fuel, timing, or pulls fuel and timing for the entire range through the maf, knock sensors, WB02, and map sensor.

The K series has 24 fuel and ignition maps and 2 cam angle maps. A lot to tune…
so it was tuned for warmer OAT’s and different air density, so the cold air that night leaned the car out, its just like how rays supra is. you gotta be careful what you run and when. i think at your level you need to run race gas, atleast some 100-104

Yessir, i don’t intend my comments to be bashing Synapse in any way…If you knew/saw where i am coming from you’d maybe look at it differently with the plug situation etc.
Still, that one night it blew 1 plug…on a warm night it blew 4. Yes, I probably should’ve been running race gas, but I was never advised that I would need to run it…After the fact that the car blew 4 plugs apart, it was suggested by the tuner that I run race gas.
Thats like me running 16 psi (450+whp) on pump gas. Needs Racegas. Its just common sense…

its normally a given that when you squeeze you want some high test in it, and you apparently were aware of it, you live and you learn, its unfortunate it occured, and its also unfortunate you didnt have some sort of logs to check real time AFR. but you cant pin this solely against morgan and synapse. it performed as advertised on the dyno and thats really about all he is responsible for, what happens after the fact is out of his control.
