no, if I had it id build it like cams, i.h.e, bigger intake mani, bigger injectors, then 150shot, but alas I am driving a jetta thats for sale,

ok…ls1’s only have a CAM (one)…no such thing as “cams”

01-02 LS1’s came with the LS6 intake manifold which is good enough to flow 600hp before upgrading to the Fast intake manifold…

my car has a ported and polished throttle body already, stage 2 clutch, I put BMR boxed lower control arms on with poly bushings…I just got a brand new Spohn Performance Adjustable torque arm with poly bushings…car already has intake and exhaust and a short shifter from the factory…All I need is long tube headers, a 3" Y pipe and a cam (have one lined up on ls1tech.com for my turbo parts along with a double roller timing chain and chromoly pushrods)…this cam alone (MS4) is good for 420+rwhp with just following bolt on’s and stock heads…

a stock LS1 can handle up around 650hp before it starts loosing its reliability.

reason why im doing suspension/chassis work first is because theirs no point in making the car have more power if you cant lay it down…with the parts I put on, I should be able to launch like a mother and cut 1.6-1.7’ 60’s all day long on street tires…If i put Nitto’s on the back its a whole different ball game but then i put my stock 10 bolt rear end in jeopardy of snapping.
