Gregory G. Rodriguez, host of “A Rifleman’s Journal” on the Sportsman Channel was killed Thursday in Montana, the Associated Press reports. Rodriguez, who is from Sugar Land, Tex., was visiting a female friend in Whitefish, Mon., at her mother’s house, when the woman’s husband arrived, and shot the host.
Police say the man, Wayne Bengston, then assaulted his wife, and took his 2-year-old son to a relative’s house. Finally, Bengston drove home and took his own life. “It’s pretty much an open-and-closed case. Homicide and suicide,” Whitefish Police Chief Bill Dial says.
Rodriguez met first met the woman, a firearms manufacturer, at a trade show, and the two began a casual relationship. Police do not believe the relationship was romantic. Dial has a theory about why the unfortunate incident happened, saying, “I think it was a jealous husband, but this is all conjecture.” The wife was treated for her injuries, believed to be caused by a pistol, and released from the hospital.
“A Rifleman’s Journal” follows Rodriguez around the globe as he pursues the world’s most coveted “big game” species, according to the Sportsman Channel website.
Actually doesn’t sound suspicious at all. Happens all the time, even to more famous people than a guy on a show that is watchd by few people.
Pitman will say this is a conspiracy, and that the journalist was actually illuminati being hunted down by a joint effort between the CIA, Secret Service, Power Rangers, and Dora the explorer. The man was then tortured by having to read every post and thread pitman has made on Shift, then he was left in a room with a gun and one bullet.
I actually know a dude that did this. He used to drink at the boing alley so I got to know him there when I was younger. He got home one night, found his wife in bed with another dude and stabbed the dude in the chest with like a 12 inch steak knife. Killed him
