Don’t lean on the car when it’s hot as fuck.
Depending on what rocker guard you used.
Buddy painted a Ranger once with asphalt rock guard…BIG mistake lol

you should have de-badged it before painting it !!
but clearly, the only reasonable thing to do would be to get some deep-ass gold rims, slap some fender flares on it and squat the fuck out of it
Cut the sprangs!
“Holy wheel gap Batman!”
Its not asphalt rocker gaurd, stuff is rock hard. It dosent go tacky at all, but does get a little soft after a few hours in the sun. I wanted to use bedliner, but they no longer sell the spray on stuff at Canadian tire, it was re-called for some reason and never brought back. I painted my Crown Vic with that stuff and you could hit it with a hammer and not damage anything.
I want different rims, but Festivas have a fucked up 4x114.5 or something bolt pattern. If you want a wider variety of aftermarket rims, you have to do a Ford Aspire suspension/brake/hub swap, they use a 4x100 bolt pattern. I want to find one in good shape and do a Ford BP (escort gt 1.8L) swap, then I’d be doing suspension/rims/brakes and everything properly, but finding a Festiva in good shape in southern ontario is proving to be impossible…
