My only guess is because people are buying them. You can buy a non-powered foil board for $1000. There isn’t $10k worth of tech in an e-foil. I want one to take out with us on the boat just to play around on when we’re hanging out at anchor, but I’m in the 2-3k range in worth, not 11K+.
