I think it would be a complete bastard to swap out those turbos though.
and bimmers are hard enough as it is to work on…
the engine bays are built just like most nissans… aka the car built around the engine…
you have to take tons of crap out to do anything on those cars…
only 306hp out of a BMW TT straight 6?
i would expect another 100hp out of that thing from the factory
that has to be heavily goverened… i can see that thing easily being capable of well over 400 hp…

They most likely didn’t up the power more because they don’t want to interfere with M3 sales.
