GeoCities used to be the go-to place on the web. I remember in high school I’d use eBay, GeoCities, MetaCrawler and various bulletin boards daily.
I looked about 2 years ago hoping to find my old GeoCities from like 97’-98’ but found out the info in the article.
Zimbra is cool shit and VMware at least is doing something good with it. Didn’t even pay realize it was Yahoo’s before.
I liked Musicmatch Jukebox before it was bought out. Good media player, and the ability to lookup and edit tags against databases right in the program. Then Yahoo bought it and shit it up.
