Ya I was just going to ask that. I thought they merged and got a lot of attention and then it suddenly went quiet. I bet the guy that came up with the idea was fired pretty quickly.

They did have awesome branding tho. They pretty much were the “internet” and so many consumers thought you had to pay AOL to get on the internet esp when the broadband rollout started. People were paying $50/month for DSL and cable and then throwing another $20/month to AOL for “internet access”
