So i have a Late 2008 unibody macbook 13.3 inch. has a 120gb SSD hd and 8gb off ddr3 ram, the 2.0 intel core 2 duo and Lion installed. has zero scratches or blemishes. and the battery still holds over a 2 hour charge. what do you all think i could get for it?
For reference I got a 15 MBP core2duo refurb for $999 6 months back
Unibody or the white one?
Unibody
Its the latest model before they went to i5/7 so its pretty new
13" Dual-Core i5 MBP starts at 1199 right now. You’ve got a nice SSD and a bit more RAM. But, the RAM is cheap, and most people would highly prefer the i5 to the C2D.
With that said, I’d think that 800 on the low end, 950 on the high end (you’d have to be pretty lucky though) is about what you’re looking at.
not bad. I’m not going to lie i bought it for 400 with a dead Hd so i bought a 120gb for $100 and spend $54 on the 8gb of ram. and sold the old ram for $20. so i only have about 530 into it. id be happy selling for 8-850… is ebay my best option?
Look up what ‘comparable’ models sold for recently on eBay. Apple stuff usually sells best there.
Upgrades tend to get you very little additional resale value, ESPECIALLY on a MacBook. People looking for MacBooks tend to want a notebook that has an Apple on it, and don’t really care about the hardware…
I doubt you would get near $800 for it, weren’t they $999 new?
im not expecting 800 for a 4 year old macbook. in the for sale section for 700 without SSD
The one thing which I really attract, that is the Unibody and also it have 2 hour battery timing.
Well I am interesting. Can you please pause the price here. I really appreciate to you. pm me for the other feature which you like most.
wtf??? that gave me a headache just trying to get past the first sentence…
silly bot
Lol. Dear sir. I would like to purchase your item for $2,000 + $200 shipping. Please let me know what account I should wire my money to.
On a serious note, I want to sell my MacBook Air but no idea. 13 inch, SSD 128GB hard drive, and 2GB RAM. Model was last years C2D right before they came with the i5 models.
