This girl just ruined her life

Lol… im not saying that, im saying its just not a DWI, ITS A DIFFERENT CHARGE! Its actually called “Zero Tolerance Violation,” and you only need to report to an administrative hearing as opposed to criminal court. You can still be arrested and still may need to pay fines, but the charge is nowhere near the severity of a DWI.

In this story, the girl was reported as driving while intoxicated and Joe had claimed that .02 and up in this case was considered “intoxicated.” Im just informing you that the state of NY does not define under .08 for ANYONE as intoxicated.

Use the friggen googles if you dont believe me, the googles knows all.

how about everyone stops speculating until her actual BAC comes back? She was charged with DWI at the hospital PENDING the results of the test. The actual charge will depend on what she registers. If she was hammered, flame on. If she was a .03, different story. Then the alcohol had little or nothing to do with it and she was just a shitty driver.

Yes and no. You won’t be charged with DWI. You won’t have a license anymore though.

Lol… then we’re arguing about 2 different things… stupid internet

I Was saying it’s illegal no matter what you blow if you’re under age 21 besides for the .02 for meds/mouthwash

Either way, she’s still fucked  whether she was hammered or not

Probably. I know a handful of people who got pulled over for boozin’ and crusin’ under and over the age of 21, they all walked. Could’nt drive for like 6months or something. I know people that have had multiple DWI’s and still have their license.

my friend was pulled over at the age of 18, he blew a .04 (half the legal limit)
and got a legit DWI.

Sounds to me you knew exactly what we were talking about :spank:

This is what people don’t understand. :picard: .08 ONLY APPLIES TO PEOPLE OVER THE AGE OF 21!!!11! omg lol

I’m so glad you posted this

silly, what sedlmier just posted is what i thought you were talking about. My bad yo

You still dont understand :picard: http://www.nysgtsc.state.ny.us/zero-tol.htm

Just read that.

Will you get in trouble for driving between .02 and .08… YES
Is it as serious as a charge as a .08 DWI… NO

No offense, but based on most of the police/ticket stories you tell I’ll get my facts from the DMV thanks.

i love how people still think its ok to drive with .07 or lower. you realize that sure you wont get a dwi, but they can give you a dui if they think you cant handle youself driving.

???

He said, “my 18 year old friend blew a .04, which is half of the legal limit”

NO. .04 x 2 =.08
.08= LEGAL to drive for 21 year olds

It is NOT legal aka ILLEGAL for people UNDER the age of 21 to drink and drive. Let alone drink.

:picard:

“zero tolerance violation” IS STILL ILLEGAL

:io:

Never mind man, I know what you’re trying to say, just chose your words better.:banghead:

what don’t you get.

if you are UNDER 21. and you have ANY alcohol in your system you can get a DWI.

I think you should listen to people with personal experience over google.

Yes, and the nys.gov sites too right? Maybe you meant he got a .05 and got charged with driving while ability impaired which is not a DWI…

Maybe you should too!:mamoru: lol

I would smash :io:
