Pretty cool, but odd that a guy who has the skills to fabricate this level of stuff on the lathe and mill uses a drill press to cut out some alum billets… but maybe that’s a trick that i dunno about

Probably because of the metal he would have wasted plowing a 1" bit through there, versus using the drill method.
or the sheet he had just wouldn’t fit -.-
