This is somewhat interesting [glorified Cavalier content]

412whp on pump gas and maxed MAF/MAP sensors. Not a bad torque curve, either. :ponder

For those of you with the ability to read: http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_ion/products1.php?id=871&catid=143

so when you gonna do this chris?

When I graduate college.

So, never. haha

didnt Morgan almost get 400whp just out of simple upgrades on his turbo one??

twin charged cavy sounds like a waste of money to only get 412rwhp IMO

He has the platform with the LNF motor, though. Those are way easier to make power than the supercharged LSJ’s, even with the stock turbo.

wait so they use maf and map

It uses the MAF, but you can switch it so if you run nitrous you can have the car base off the MAP sensor.

I personally wouldn’t spend the $ on doing that, but I just thought it was interesting, especially the curve that it makes. Sure 412whp peak isn’t incredible, but the area below that is impressive. That’s usable power all throughout the RPM range, not just above 4500rpms like most turbo-swapped LSJ’s seem to be.

Either way, 412whp on 93 octane in an economy car is impressive.

I thought about doing this to my Alero way back when :lol
Gotta love the tourque curve on anything twincharged, its so flat!

Fo’ sho. GM loves that shit. The only thing that happens when I remove my MAF is a fail code, then it switches to low octane spark tables and uses the MAP sensor.

Yep. Good ol’ SD mode.
