If you’re complaining now, don’t make too many plans for this weekend up until wednesday. If the models stay true, they’re showing a potential derecho event. As the week goes on, the models will have a better idea when it will exactly happen, IF the models stay on the course they are showing now.
If anyone else here is old enough to remember, the last derecho event (derecho is a widespread severe storm of epic proportions) for NY was May 31,1998 and was responsible for producing 27 tornadoes throughout NY, including the Mechanicville and Colonie tornadoes that day.
Where is your source for this? Not calling you out or calling you a liar, but I am interested in reading about it and keeping an eye on it. I’m really interested in the weather and all that shit, so stuff like this interests me. A tornado would be awesome! :banana

I don’t know how much your into the weather (reading models, familiarity with them, etc) but, if you are, check out the CAPE and LI values for next Monday. 2500-3000 with -8 to -10 in the region! I’ve never seen anything like it for NY.

Oh I know the feeling. I used to wash my car like 1 or 2 times a week, and almost every time right after I washed it it rained. I stopped washing it so often and it seems like it rains even more now than it did before. :wtf I wash the thing like once every 2 weeks if i’m lucky… otherwise the rain takes care of that pretty good. :headbang
its a joke, both of my cars were ALWAYS clean, now Im lucky if they get cleaned weekly, the last 4 times I waxed my cars it rained within 6 hours. for example today, I take the good car, and it was sunny on the way up, it poured for 20 mins, now its sunny again. I wanna wash it since im at work, but knowing the weather lately itll rain on the way home.
