Last year we started a tradition at the shelby dodge nationals of renting a car and installing N20. Last year we had a 300c with a hemi. This year the only V8 we could get was a caddy dts with a northstar. We took about 1 and 1/2 seconds off the 1/4 mile times with a 125 shot.
I was on wiring duty again this year.

First pass 16.18. A few passes later still all motor 15.98 best it would do. 100 shot later, 14.40 a little working with the launch technique and the 125 shot(best to roll out nitrous off and hit the arm switch at about 20’ out) and best was 14.29 @ 99.97
Wow, I’m impressed you actually used solenoids. I’ve seen a lot of N2O rental cars but it’s usually just the bottle in the passenger seat with a line to the intake infront of the MAF. Well done I want to see vids!
Meh, just request that the thread be deleted and tell the rental car company there was a mechanical failure. Play dumb long enough and rental insurance should take care of it. However, if it broke at a track I’m sure they’d have some questions.
lol. well in order for the videos to be on the internet, he would have to upload video that he filmed, if he filmed it, that means it already happened, if he blew it up, he wouldn’t upload it.
The rental was not in my name and he did get the extra insurance. If it broke at the track we would have used AAA to get it somewhere before calling the rental company.
I did two burnouts with it the night before it went back. The first one was good and I rolled out of it. I stayed in the second one forever. The tranny probably went through all the gears and the tires even stopped spinning at one point and I never let out. The trans down shifted and then started spinning again. So it survived all the abuse the previous days and a day at the track. If it did not break during my huge burnout finale I don’t know how we could actually break it other than a neutral drop or something.
I understand, I’m just saying there are stupid people out there who post them stuff doing shit online and get in trouble for it down the road, for example the retarded chicks who beat up that girl and put it on youtube.Also, you can see the plate number on the last pic, wouldn’t be to hard for some asshole to investigate it further.
I’m all about having fun with rental cars, I’m just looking out for OP. I wouldn’t post pics of faces and plates that’s all.
