my take on the entire site does have some things to do with cars, but for the most part is the people i met over the years that make this site what it really is to me
I think there is a great group of ppl on here and a vast wealth of knowledge. I come here to socialize w/ local people w/ some similar interests, and to get info on local stuff etc. I think the upgrade is excellent too! Thanks Whitey!

There is quite a bit of Technical info on the site, however there is also a good amount of BS’ng going on. Personally, I like it that way. I have learned so much from the members on the site. New interests have been sparked after reading members threads on variety of cars and racing.
Its funny, when the site started it was mainly the domestic crowed. Now the site is being deemed by most as a Sport Compact Crowed. The great thing is, its both and alot more! We have off roading people and motorcycle people too!
NOOB… well they are my next friend, so of course they need picked on for a little bit. Some of the best members now are the ones that got picked on the most when they came to the site. A McDonald’s themed Grand Am comes to mind!
Advertisers, well I think some of the shops work very well together. A few times Eric and Jay have been out to 1st Try to borrow items or even swap materials. I know Jeff heads down to Domination for some custom bent piping too. I have also experienced Hybrid and JJ’s working together. The advertisers are businesses, if they choose to help each other then great. They will probably profit more in the end that way.

Pittspeed absolutely fucking rocks. I love this site.
You guys have helped me a few times now. For example, when I needed a shop to do some work recently Pittspeed pointed my in the right direction. It’s absolutely GREAT to have a resource like this available. Track information, street information, all sorts of useful staff can be taken from this site.
If nothing else, it gives me a chance to scope out the other guy who I might bump into at a stoplight.

Does this site cater to a certain crowd? Absolutely- it seems to cater to the PERFORMANCE crowd, intentionally or not, and I like that. I’m not really into all show no go cars or big stereos and body kits on stock rides.
Does this site bash “n00bz3rs”? Eh, everyone was real cool to me when I first came on so I’d say no. If you act like an ass, you probably deserve to get treated like one.

lol yeah this site is great! its very helpful in that it deals with local stuff… i found out about alot of goood shops around here from this site… i dont think i would have found out about them any other way. the ppl here seem pretty cool too. and another thing thats great is that you can meet them since most ppl on here are fairly local… unlike other car forums where ppl are from all over

I really llke this site and enjoy reading it…most of the stuff on here is BS to be honest, but there are tons of knowledgable people on here who can be refrenced and all of them so far have been very helpful :thumbup:
