Thread locking

Mods, if you are going to lock a thread. Please take the time to actually read it before locking it.

It is happening far to ofter, and for really no reason at all.

That being said, if someone is completely avoiding the rules then I understand. But if its a thread that someone is looking for help, then really whats the point!!! Try and help the guy out before you just jump to a conclusion. (Isn’t that the reason for having a forum in the first place).

Thanks,

CVM07

Poster, if you are going to make a thread please take the time to actually read the rules before posting it.

We -DO- read every thread before we lock it, and yours was locked with good reason.

Again, to summarize that reasoning for you:

  1. Your thread was in the completely wrong section

  2. You didn’t bother to read the rules, apparently, or you just chose to ignore them, since you posted your title in all caps.

Thanks,

Here’s what’s up noob.

You are lazy, and dont really give a shit about the forum. In turn, me not giving a shit about you and your problems. If you make a stupid thread, you can be sure that i will be there to fix it for you. Now that you have brought attention to yourself, i will be even more anal with every thread and post you make in the future.

Peace out.

Sincerely,

Nutta.

Oh I see what you did there

The thread started by asking a question about turns signals. That’s why it was in the technical section. If you did read start to finish you would have seen that. If I could have moved it, I would have. I guess the simple thing would have been for MODS to move, maybe a PM for all Caps. So sorry, didn’t realise it was such a problem.

Since it was posted, I then realised that from the info gathered that I do actually need new turn siganls, ASAP. As I can NOT drive my car untill I get new ones (I am sure you guys know how that can be). I guess that I could have created a new thread for this.

Attitude is not required when an inquiry is made, that just goes to show what we are dealing with here. This section of the forum is to be able to make Comments, suggestions and complaints about the board and its staff.

Again I say, A forum is there so that guys can help one another with something that we all have a mutual affection for. If you treat every senario with the same amount of frustration then we all loose.

I know that this board is getting flooded with all kinds of “noobs” which is not actually a bad thing if it promoted in a good way. I know you guys have had allot of B.S. to deal with and allot of stupidity as well. But hey we all started out somewhere and if you treat the new guys well then you will find that we all will benifit from it.

Sorry not a noob, I am a member, if someone ever gets a chance to update my status.

Yeah sure you guys where right, but it’s the manner in which it was delt with. Could have been allot better. Please unlock and move.

Thanks for the help,

CVM07

Dude, are you gonna sit there and take that from the Man or are you gonna fight back?
Fight the power! F*ck the police! Etc…!
Buss a cap in his bitch ass forreal, seen!

No, the simple thing to do would be for you to follow the rules that have been in place for 4 years now, and post in the approriate section. It’s nto very complicated. Make one thread in the Technical section for determining which signals you need, and another thread in the Parts Wanted to Buy section for the appropriate signals would have been the simple thing to do.

75% of the time I will edit thread titles to comply with the rules. That is if the thread is otherwise good, or the member is a longstanding one. If you completely disregard the rules, I’m really not going to go to the effort.

See, you knew the answer all along.

Once again, thanks for the help.

At least I was willing to admit that I could have done something different.

you can be a paid member and still be considered a noob. member status is not elite status.
