What’s the deal with throttle bodies? Heard that I should go with a gsr throttle body, anyone chime in on this. Any other throttle bodies recommendend, it will be teamed with the Skunk2 manifold I just bought.
the air flow would be going small to big. by only a few mm. (i wouldnt be too worried about it, unless you want the extra .5-1 hp.) but if u had a tb larger than your intake manifold, and not port matched you would be defeating the purpose and creating an abrupt bottleneck for the air flow. all and all its a honda it will run and drive fine with no matter what you decide to put on it.
h22 is 60mm i think… ive seen a shunk2 thats 68mm
blox makes a 70mm
bdl has similar sizes
there is a guy on honda-tech that bores them out & cleans them up real nice…& reasonable. $100

i had my throttlebody done by maxbore. he does excellent work for the money. mines at 66mm and still uses a factory type r gasket. if you can spare a week or so without the throttlebody i also suggest max bore. just make sure you overly clear with the return address.
