i need my intake manifold port matched to my TB (68mm)… who does it/a good job? and how much would it roughly cost…+ turn around time?

thanks

I got my porting and polishing done at K&S Auto

j & l performance on walden, i dont remeber, but it wasnt expensive

that sounds like something you could do with a die grinder for free.

+1.

not worth paying someone to do.

the port matching bullshit only really applies to NA builds when ur looking for every last bit of power.

if ur turbo or mild NA, its not worth it.

just go buy a dremel and some sanding discs and do it yourself, the throttle body is def something you will want to do esp since you have the first gen skunk2 intake manifold

Do it yourself. I ported my Victor X manifold to match my 78mm TB.
If I can do it, you can do it.

I used a double cut carbide burr from Mcmaster

Just the TB inlet size to plenum is pretty fail safe, so somthing good to DIY if you want to.
If not I can do it, if your looking for somone. What intake is it, and TB?

Do it yourself you lazy ballsack.

God damn dickheads!
well i have all the tools, guess i will do it myself then lol

the dremel and the snake attachment (or if you have air HF has the same deal in the air version) work best. i went right up all the intake runners, and all over the inside of the main body getting all the casting flash off. didnt take but an hour, and ya might as well gasket match it too… i pnp’ed everything i could while collecting parts for my car…

might as well cut it all the way and port the ports too haha

doing mine tomorrow

i stopped over @ don’s place today to check things out and I’m going to be pretty much way too close to the IACV port on the manifold, the manifold now is 64mm, if i went to 68mm, i would have 1mm and less left of clearance

the 68mm TB for my car is 135$ shipped, the 66mm throttle body is 265$ shipped :frowning:

is it Ok to use my LS throttle body for my b16 head? I want to get my car running

stock Ls size is 60mm, i just want to know if everything will just bolt up and “work”

just plug the port, thats what i did when i port matched mine. mine is at 68 as well.

how do you go about doing that?

get a profession products 65mm tb, its def big enough and can fit most manifolds pretty easily

You’ll be fine. I bored mine to 76mm and I dont have any issues.
