Tire hookups

My Michelin pilot pwr 2ct is showing pretty good wear (rear)
Where can I get a good hook up on a tire, I’d like the same tire as it worked pretty good, I only got 4k miles out of it,not sure if that’s a lot or not…
If it requires ordering one, where is the cheapest to get mounted?

thanxx

thats average and sportbiketrackgear.com ships very fast. i liked don george’s for mounting, good price and did no damage to my wheels.

Are you not suppose to replace the front and rear at the same time because they have both had the same amount of heat cycles?

I’m assuming yes, but I really don’t want to drop $400 on tires, I figure I can make it through fall on 1 more rear tire…then I’ll replace both this winter.

you can replace 2 rears for every front with no problems. this is a street bike not a track bike.

+1, did that for 10 years…

theres a place on the corner of 39 and 240 by pitstop that mounts and balances for 15/tire

I always do them both… you typically get free shipping or the same shipping for one tire and then dont have to go through the hassle twice. You can get both tires shipped for ~260 to buffalo. sportbiketrackgear or something like that and then price match to dennis kirk.

Freewheeling always did good for mounting… or call the dunlop guy up in lancaster… he mounts and balances for 40 bucks.

damn thats a deal… what about if you bring the bike in?

i think its like 60 rear 30 front or something

derbycycles.com has pretty damn good pricing also. check it out
