Tires finally showed up so the wheels are on...

Cars a bit dirty, we just had rain but oh well. As you can see by the back fender, there was some adjustments to the sheetmetal to make these work. 235/40/18 up front and 255/35/18 in the rear. I am not happy with the front tires at all, they look to big. I am going to go to a 225 and see if that will give me a slight stretch like the back so the sidewall isn’t so straight. Anyways, here they are, let me know what you think.

looks WICKED love the dish

how did you flare your fenders?
Looks nice and smooth from the pics.
Love the dish rims! What kind of tires you go with?

Actually I did the fenders with two heat guns and a HUGE rubber mallet, and then a smaller mallet for the finishing work. No paint cracking or wrinkling at all. So far everyone that looks at it has been amazed how well it turned out. The rears I rolled, pulled, and flared out. The fronts I rolled and pulled the whole fender out a bit. The tires are Nexen. They were ridiculously cheap for the sizes and I wasn’t totally sure on the sizes yet so I figured I would try them. Now that I already want to change the fronts I am not losing a huge chunk of money. They are z rated and really soft compound as well. Sooo…I guess a fender roller isn’t always needed.

Yeah, I want to do that to the rear of mine too. But I am not a body guy, I know very little about body work sadly.

Yeah, you can’t beat Nexen, cheapest Z rated tires I’ve ever seen. I think the sizes look fine. They are taller than stock, which should load up the turbo better.

I like the 255’s on the back alot but the fronts actually have a taller sidewall and that is really bothering me. If I go to a 225/40/18 instead of the 235/40/18 they will be exactly the same. So if anyone needs some 235’s just let me know.

Nice looking wheels, what kind are they?

It almost appears that the center is a bit darker than the lip in the first pic, is that just due to the shade or is it hyperblack or soemthing?

props!

looks good. really good.
what are the rims?
and where did you get them>>>??

Thanks guys. They are hyper black. Looks awesome when the sun hits them. They are TSW Thruxtons. 18x8 and 18x9.5. +20 offset all around. I got them from a local tire shop in Red Deer but there is like a 2-3 month wait on them in the +20 offset so I have been waiting a while.
