If you want to save a little money on liquor when the receptions over see if the venue wil buy back some of the bottles that are like 1/2 or 3/4 full, if not take them. And lots of snack foods, I dont know if you were doin the sit down meal or like a buffet style but the buffet worked really well, there was something for everyone and we didnt have to cater to any one persons tastes.
We eloped back in September in Vegas… thought it would be fun and we had a blast. :awdrifter:
Reception is still being held in May as planned, but it eliminates the stressful wedding ceremony portion.
Picked out my wedding ring. I liked it for several reasons.
-It matches a similar style to her wedding ring with the 5 bands. (minus the diamonds, obviously)
-It’s different, yet still simple
-I like titanium. (has 2 bands of Silver though too)
For the nay sayers… the reception has been kept simple as planned.
Evening Cocktail Party w/ hand passed hourdurves and premium stocked open bar. Paid for and done with… as far as i’m concerend, the details are now set in stone.
Also, a “Candy” bar, Misc. serving stations, DJ and Dancefloor, Valet Parking, Fireworks, and working on that C-130 flyover.

i’ve been wearing a titanium band that i machined almost 8 years ago and love it. Unfortunately the material selection wasn’t much of an option for this style band. Could always make one as a replacement i guess…but i’m satisfied with it.
It has 2 bands of silver…but, i like the titanium.

We got married there almost 4 years ago! But after we got married I wished we had done it at home with all our family and friends, so hubby said we could re-new our vows on our 5 year with a “simple” wedding…

We were hoping to do something really tacky…for the complete Vegas experience, but the Elvis ones were booked for the next several hours.
So we ended up going to “Cupid’s Wedding Chapel” … their claim to fame is Bon Jovi was married there.
They wanted $135 for the ceremony but i talked them down to $100. :eekdance:
