i’m kinda confused…but, i have a sub 2000 lb car, fwd, and i was going between 45 and 60 the whole way home both friday night and saturday night…both of which were quite snowy and unplowed… :gotme:
if you’ve lived here a long time, are a half decent driver, have half decent snow tires, and don’t try to make any sudden changes in speed or direction, it’s not hard to maintain that speed in the weather we recently experienced…
Agreed, I have a rear wheel drive grand cherokee limited. I was down in Florida for the past two years, have been in Boston for the last 9 weeks and I have no issue going 50mph ish when the snow is coming down fairly hard. Change lanes as little as possible, take it easy on the breaks and don’t purposely drive like an idiot.

Edit: I had my g/f in the car and coming back from the bar, 50 mph is slow for me.

i just wanted to call jarod a funboi in the title of a thread and callout the fact that he was kind of “running” from me while i was in my lexus on friday night. it seriously took me from north forest to clarence to get him to stop to say whats up.

FWIW: I was pulled over because I was doing 65 on the I-90 (which is a 65) during a snow storm.
I was in a 3/4 ton pickup towing a trailer, but I was in full control.
The officer though it would be safer to pull me over on the side of the road during a snowstorm :bloated:
He let me go with a warning though. he told me he could give me a ticket for driving to fast for conditions.
