Tom the roofer

Do you use 1350 u-joints?

Yes I do.

So when do you want to switch out those center sections? I think you said you wanted to try out a 4:88 gear. I would like to try a 4:56 gear. We could set something up on a monday nite at my shop. Have the cars side by side on the rack switch them out adn try them on tueday and switch them back out wed. We both only really need one pass and we would know if they helped or hurt us.

OK next week maybe.

Cool i talk to you up the track sat

OK, I’ll see you in the lanes where the gravel doesn’t fly

:stick:

My 4.56 gear is a lightened Moser gear. I think it’s 6lbs less than normal. My center section is aluminum too. The 4.88 might help my 60’. The gravel’s really gonna fly now.

PM’S FELLOWS! :moon:

OK Boss

:kekegay:

If you break it, do you buy it???

x2! :dunno:

:burnout: Mine is unbreakable :burnout:

I haven’t sat in it yet :booty:

yikes, 4.88’s! I’m just crackin 8k rpm at the end of the track with 4.56’s… oh how the bbc loves the revs

I have a strange iron nodular center w/ a strange spool. Richmond pro gear. I really don’t think the weight is going to be a major factor in the switch. If anything maybe a few thousandths. The only thing i want is mph. I’m not too worried about losing et. But atleast then we will know if the gear will work for us or not. I highly doubt we would break each others parts. I think i have some where around 250-280 passes on my ring and pinion. If its gonna break it gonna break. Weather its in my car or his.

I’m not worried about anything breaking. If it does ? Shit happens :blue:

Tom,are you going to be at the track for Night Under Fire?It will be my first trip up there this year.

Yes I’ll be there. We will pit somewhere down by the ticket booth. Stop over and say hello
