ok so it was only a 5.0 (95-97) body style but i was happy
i was out with my g/f the other night right out side youngstown ohio on 422 and this black mustang GT came up beside me, around 95-96 body style 5spd we went from a role started off at about 30mph which was good for me(2000 grand prix GT) i went up to 110 and then backed off with him a couple car lengths behind me, he got pissed when he found out i was only running a V-6 but that was my excitement till this past weekend
one of my friends has a 95 mustang GT(with the saleen body kit on it) running 4:10’s, a jasper tranny, trickflow intake and other misc things found out about me racing the other one so he decided he wanted to race me, went from a role again(30mph) and by 60mph he had at least 3 car lengths on me =[ kinda put me back in my place,lol
but all in all good races
I surprised that no one called BS. What’s all done to your GT?

Aha Yes… Great Job!!! Those 5.0s are a joke :down: and it is great when a N/A GP takes one out. Just think how bad you would have smoked the first one you raced if you had a GTP. I bet with a lightly modded GTP (3.4 pulley and intake) you would have walked both pretty easy.

NA GP beating a 5.0 means the 5.0 had a bad driver
When I was at the track I saw a few 95+ 5.0s that couldn’t even get into the 14’s …I see a lot of the GP GTs in the 15’s no problem.
Why am i the dumass? I knew the second one was a 5.0 you said 4.6…so you are the dumass. The first one was a 5.0 if it was a 95 and a 4.6 if it was a 96 or 97 either way both are a joke
