Took the new camera out..

FYI, there is nothing wrong with post-processing. 99.99% of photos can be improved with at least minor post-processing, especially when shooting RAW. The main improvement with these shots would be some white balance adjustments.

Try shooting some low light stuff with motion… that’s where it really gets challenging with the D60 Kit. I keep itching to move up to a D90, or get some additional lenses because of the low light problems.

Just picked up a nice D60 tonight. After I buy a new memory card, there will be some pictures posted

As a straight, no post-work set, your eye is good. I can’t really comment on technique like some of these guys above, I’m not a trained photographer. But - you’ve got great content and good color range, and some of the detail in the closer pics is really intriguing.

I have your city hall pic as a BG on my work comp - nice shots.

haha Sorry about the memory card… I really don’t know where the hell it went! But you got a screaming deal… and you will be much happier with an Extreme III 30mb/s edition…

REMEMBER THE 30mb/s edition!

If you crop down all the time… angle isn’t that important… but if you try to get the right shot everytime… you kind of fuck yourself when you don’t care about the angle…

you end up losing ALOT…

I have this tendency :frowning:

I was just looking at them on tiger direct. I can get a sweet discount from work on them…

They aren’t too much, I’ll wait a few weeks to get one.

yea… i work with just about every picture i take afterwards, especially RAW’s because you can truely fix under/overexposure.

Well yes you can adjust exposure… but if you over or under expose it too much the info just will not be there. so you won’t be ab;e to recover it.

Awesome second picture with the church I really like it…If I was still in a band I’d use it as album art

thank you master :thankyou:

so i can’t take a picture in the pitch dark at 1/2500 and tweak it with iphoto to make it daylight!?!?
