i’m speaking from experince here … tell me what it takes on any one of those cars to get them over 600 WHP reliably? well over 15k from the stock ca. that’s not including addressing saftey issues.
to each his own sure. i just stated an obvious fact and my opinion
so then your opinion is fact? whats could be a waste to you is not necessarily a waste to others. and thats great because i’ve owned a bunch of those cars too.

ok, so this is how i’m thinking. we all drive street cars, right? an 11 second street car isn’t exactly “slow”. why throw out the 600whp number? 75% of those cars are light enough to not need 600whp to be fast. right around 400 will do just fine. and of those heavier cars, yes the supra can see 600whp reliably.

ok with the exclusion of the supra however the supras are expensive to get to higher HP numbers (which from want i’ve seen and read they need because of their stupid power curve) not to mention finding one in a decent price range for the car it is.
yea, i’ll def give ya that point. i mean if your talking about your personal car (vette) then you have a much larger price range than those cars save the supra and evo/sti. if you think about it it really works out to be about the same in the end, u gotta pay to play 
none of the cars are a waste of money aside fromt he damn xB for one reason popularity. populartiy makes them cheap for the most part to mod not to mention the huge aftermarket. there is no reason none of those cars could considered slow by the time you sink the smae amount money into each, including the price of the car.

i’m pretty sure i could get to that $15k mark, and still not be much high than stock…
so far i’ve thrown in $XXXX.xx dollars, and i’m slower than stock :bloated:
ps: i didn’t even check the list because my slow and gay 56k is acting up (everything i have is slow and gay and acts up a lot), but i’m just going to assume from past experience that 300ZX TT’s are on that list of the most expensive to mod reliably and legally to 600+rwhp

I will agree that the 4 cylinder class are a lot harder and costly to make 600whp out of.

11’s,12’s and even low 13’s isnt exactly “slow” when you compare it with every car on the road.People need hobby’s,they buy a few parts with hard earned money to make their car go faster.I’d like to know why someone has the right to call something a waste of money.We need something to to spend our money on.People tell me that building my own computer is a waste of money and to go buy one at wal-mart or Dell.But im the first guy they call to fix it when it breaks.:lol:
