Perfect albums being defined as, something you can press play on track 1, and listen to and enjoy the whole way through without skipping any tracks.
I’m also going to ask that you keep it within the last 2 or 3 decades, anyone can say zeppelin 4, the white album, exile on main st, ect. Keep out classic, legendary albums like that
Also, no greatest hits albums. Cmon. Greatest hits albums are for little girls and housewives! (if you get that reference I heart you)
Mine, in no particular order-
The refused - the shape of punk to come (or as I like to call it, the shape of punk that never came)
Katatonia-Night is The New Day
Deftones-Saturday Night Wrist (they are all excellent though)
Megadeth-Rust In Peace
Between The Buried And Me-Alaska
Dream Theater-Awake
Postal Service - Give Up
The Chariot - The Fiancee
Saves The Day - Im Sorry Im Leaving (Tough to pick just one)
Clipse - Lord Willin
Catch 22 - Keasbey Nights
Not in any real order but i love every song on any of these

I tried listening to mastodon a while ago and couldnt get into it but keep hearing ppl talk about it i might have to try again
The newer stuff from the last album was VERY progressive metal which is was commercially successful but not what made them who they are. You would probably like the first few albums
Check out leviathan, remission, and Blood Mountain. Here are a couple choice tunes from each
Leviathan:
This video was made in ATL at the Star Bar and the guy in the clown suit, uncle reverend laffo, is super fucking cool guy.
Remission:
Blood Mountain: (was getting a little progressive)
BTBAM’s first 2 albums were better than Alaska. Silent Circus is my favorite by them.
Mine would probably be:
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - Genesis
Led Zeppelin II - Led Zeppelin
Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Power and The Glory - Gentle Giant
De-Loused in the Comatorium - The Mars Volta
I could change this list 1,000 times. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway has got to be the most solid album cover to cover I’ve ever heard. The new Portugal. The Man album is incredibly solid as well.
I agree on Marshall Mathers LP. I’ve grown out of rap but I still love that album for nostalgia’s sake and I think Eminem peaked there. Definitely his magnum opus.
The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Goldfinger - Goldfinger
Strike Anywhere - Change is a Sound
Good Riddance - A Comprehensive Guide to Modern Rebellion
Osker - Treatment 5
Terror, KOTF is up there on my list. Currently in rotation in my car.
Primus. which one is a tough call… Still don’t quite “get” The Brown Album, but any of the others. Pork Soda got wore out on tape, second only to Angel Dust by the next Artist on my list.
Faith No More, Angel Dust, The Real Thing… All so good.
Cypress Hill, Black Sunday. Hate rap, always loved this album…
