top feed injectors?

I understand the ka24 and sr20 run side feed injectors which can be relatively expensive to upgrade.

Is there a company that makes top feed fuel rails for these motors?

I have a friend who makes me rails for the supras, gonna try and see if he can do something for the 240 community, but i just want to know if its possible.

MSD injectors are relatively cheap.

Also RC Engineering to consider.

As for rail, they can be had for a couple hundred $.

Eg. www.jgycustoms.com

Both big name companies and custom shops make rails for these motors. There is alot to choose from. The top feed injectors you can use will depend on your rail though since top feed injectors vary in size.

I used a sard fuel rail with precision turbo injectors, perfect fit.

hey make some topfeed rails for cheap,

ill take one

it can be done
i mean its shorter then the mkiv or mk3 supra rails, so it will be relatively cheaper.
I think i’m gonna get my hands on a intake mani or head with a rail and do the mock ups.
Do the injectors sit in the manifold? or the head?

Mani. if you are nicec I may be able to lend you a Mani

if he is nice, come-on benson, I’m watching this thinking depending on the price, I’m in…

There has got to be someone with a spare SR fuel rail…

I’ve got a spare KA24DE fuel rail (+1 injector) available for this, maybe help some KA-T guys out too…

The only thing I can see that you would need to know is distance between injectors on the manifold so you can drill your holes on the rail accordingly.

depth and diameter of the injectors

Speaking of injectors does anyone know the conversion formula of lb/hr vs cc/min?

depth and diameter of the injectors[/quote]

You still wouldn’t need a manifold for that. You would just have to drill that rail out to whatever size the top ring of the injector you plan on using is. I believe most top feeds come in three different sizes. Domestic (msd style), sport compact (rc’s etc) and I believe dsm/mitsubishi has a different size top feed.

lb/hr -> cc/min
Multiply by 10.2

I looked at doing this ages ago, and it just wasn’t really worth doing. Picked up remaned injectors instead from Dave at http://deatschwerks.com/

There are a lot of people on here running them, Dave is a really cool guy.

Everyone should follow what applesauce is doing. He has the fastest car on son.

maybe if you actually researched injectors you would find that deatschwerks are some of the best injectors out there for the price?

for the cost/hassle of doing top feed you can get deatschwerks for only a few dollars more, also most strut braces wont clear top feed rails.

pretty sure lbs to cc is x 10.5
i’m gonna get cracking on this for you guys

I made a top feed fuel rail for a s12 CA18DET for a friend of mine I will put up some pics

here are some pics!
