Top Gear Season 14!

Nope, it’s just you. :cky:

lol fuck you guys

huh?

British humor has always been some of the best… just look at how many American TV shows are clones of a British one.

I love this show and was super pumped for the new season to start last week. They kicked it off with a pretty good episode, but this weeks was kind of lame except for the r8 vs zr1 review which was siqqqq but a whole episode dedicated to a gag about building a electric car was kind of lame.:gotme: I guess I will just have to wait and hope the rest of the season gets better.

this was definitely a penis themed episode lol.

loving the HD rips on my projector.

Is it just me or does it seem like they just keep acting more and more like kids as they get older? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I find all the childish bafoonery very entertaining… and relatable.

yeah i told my wife it was like watching a more refined version of beavis and butthead.

The stig is black?

Anyone been following this season? Some of the episodes have been hit-or-miss but it’s still the best car TV around.

To catch everyone up:

There’s a rather lengthy thread on our forums where some people are saying that they’ve been unhappy with this season for a variety of reasons, but mostly because it wasn’t car related enough.

Andy Wilman, the executive producer of Top Gear and the fourth man behind the show, has responded to those types of concerns in a very well written blog post today. If you’re one of those people who feel Top Gear has gone in the wrong direction, then I strongly advise you to read it and then watch next week’s Bolivia special.

I love the fact that he wrote a well-worded reply. I too miss the “Second-hand Supercar” goofiness but I can’t wait for next week’s South America run.

As always, if you want to see this season (the first season to be shot in HD, FYI) head over to finalgear.com and start pulling torrents.

Hopefully it ends well because so far this season has been a big disappointment. I have high hopes for the Bolivia special.

If you think back about car/boats, home built limos, the Vietnam special, the Bonneville special, the “best road in the world”, the Africa special and the Toyota Helux episode to name a few you’ll probably realize this season has been pretty weak.

A great site for keeping track when your favorite TV episodes are going to air.

Couldn’t agree more, Jay. Seems like they are off the pace. I felt last season was that way, too.

The other disappointing fact about this season is how short it is. Typically the summer series is about 6-7 episodes, with the winter season being 10+. Next week is their ‘special’ which marks the end of the season… at 7 episodes… none of which being that memorable.

In Wilman’s blog above he says there are still “three shows to transmit”.

:edit: but yeah, the seasons are so damn short that when they are sketchy, they’re really sketchy. Kind of like Buffalo summers

Season 11 was 6 episodes
Season 12 was 7 + a special
Season 13 was 7 episodes

epguides.com is showing season 14 being 7 episodes and that includes the Bolivia special that is being treated as episode 6.
