Id take the r8 hands down. zr1’s look cash too.
good post.
R8 is KILLER!!! :thumb
an r8 is only going to be around 30k more then a zr1… when your above the 100k mark for people who can afford it then 30k is not going to hold you up that much.
the corvette has a full leather dash, very nice styling, great chassie, hand built motor, track tuned suspension. all in all it’s a very nice car, and for the money dollar for dollar you arn’t going to be much better.
but the r8 has a slightly better drive-train and computer controls to help make sure all the power and grip can be used, not only on a track at full speed, but on a daily basis around town.
not even bashing domestics over imports it simply comes down to the type of drive-train and the amount of computer aided assistance thats makes the r8 a better car then the zr1
I didn’t say anything about the way that it looks… in fact, I like the way that it looks BETTER than the Audi.
All I’m saying is for that kind of money, I’d think it would be a nicer car. Interior notwithstanding.
American cars are not easier to take apart.
id take the zr1…oh shit i forgot i have one!!!
Did you NOT watch that topgear video?
The Stig was having more traction issues with the R8 in the turns then the ZR1…so that completely disregards your but the r8 has a slightly better drive-train and computer controls to help make sure all the power and grip can be used, not only on a track at full speed, but on a daily basis around town theory. This would also be called traction control which I believe (not 100% Positive) but theres 3 different settings…not to mention, for $600 more you can pully and tune a ZR1 and gain another 80-100rwhp…cant exactly do that to a V10 R8 without breaking the bank.
