Track Fairings

At the top of the Heap are Shark skinz

828 - 950 price range
I’ve heard nothing but good things from guys who have crashed in them 3+ times. From what I understand Yamaha Ran these when they were still a part of WSBK.

:number1 Also I think Ridersdiscount offers this kit so I’d advise contacting them for a possible better price than MSRP.

Sharkskinz>Armor Bodies

Another Good choice Armor Bodies, I hear good things the price is also lower so it’s something to keep in mind.

Catalyst racing
stumbled upon them while looking up rock wall.
I know nothing other than what i have read. holds up well enough in a low side crash.

Hotboides… For the price there is so much better. I’ll leave it at that.
Every now and then they have a buy one set get one free If there stuff was around the 300 dollar mark it would be a fairer price.

Exhaust sliders, if your like me and have an expensive aftermart slip on that would be HARD to replace you might one to invest in these. BTW Black is currently out of stock.

The fact is…Motorcycle riders and racers crash frequently on pavement.
Advanced Performance Accessories Muffler Slider is made from a specially formulated thick, tough plastic material that resists wear and helps protect your Muffler in the event of a crash much like a frame slider.
Exhaust manufacturers DO NOT want you to know about this product! Why??? Because they want you to destroy your muffler so they can sell you another at $500 a pop!
Factory race teams exhaust systems are given to them for FREE but you and I have to pay for ours … so why not protect your investment?
This product has been used and thourally crash tested by many street riders and road racers.

Dzus Panex Bolts

6pc: Fiberglass Bodywork, DZUS (D8), D-Ring, Clip-On, Silver, WL=12mm – KurveyGirl
Everyone swears kurvey girl is the best for dzus panex bolts

I have never heard of an exhaust slider until you told me about it.

That is definitely something that is needed on a bike like mine where the exhaust hangs way out and I know from the past that it’s one of the first things to hit. There are actually some scuff marks from the previous owner on it.

Great thread!

It’s something few people are ever told of outside of the hardcore track guys/pro racers.

I too never heard of exhaust slider. Track guys I’ve seen all have beat up exhaust, may be they just don’t care. :rofl

I have a bag of Dzus unused from KurvyGirl…:rofl may be I will try to make them fit this season…

The track guys I know are crazy about there machines looking top shelf :lol

Thanks for the PM this morning Gundam! I bought the full set from Disco for $250. Now I gotta save for a track suit, and then I’ll be ready for trackdays!

I’m looking into a tow vehicle right now.

I’m thinking… Volvo wagon :excited

Just ride there…:rofl:rofl:rofl:crackup:crackup:crackup…it is not too bad I would imagine if your 4.5hrs ride to the track is not raining…constantly…

Fucking congrads man I am jealous, glad I could look out for you.

:lol

Disco is having a kid, it’s like I always say. The best stuff go’s for sale when racers have kids. :lmao
