^^^Where did u ever hear or SEE such a thing??:hay:
Coming from a FWD car with torque…forget drag radials and just get slicks. I scored a 1.9 with my DRs. I think I could have got a bit better if I had better circumstances and opportunities. I’ve ~heard~ of other GP’s getting as low as 1.7 but, thats it. Some of the GP’s running 12s-11s are getting 1.7-1.5s with slicks. The GP guys like running the, L4 compound Mickey Thompson slicks. They’re for the sport compact cars = good n sticky for FWD. MTT-3053C is the part number 26"x10"x15", like studderin posted, and same with the MTT-3055C, they’re 28.1"x10.5"x15" Both have a nice side wall to take the initial hit, give a little (wrinkle) and pull the car forward.
One of those 2 tire options are DEF. what I’ll be getting next spring. Hopefully I’ll have some nice light Weld wheels to go with them.:eekdance:
…do 100mph on a Full Slicks, ET Street, Drag radial…The drag radial WILL have the best stability…

stability… this is a car thats gona run a 26x10 ETdrag. And you bring that up with locking the rear suspension… stability. LOL
FWD is drag prep IS unsave. he wants to get a good ET stability is at the bottem of the list, this might not be the smartest, but its true. fuck the staility
whats size rim do you have? if you can run the 3053c slicks, there are very good.
i run et drags at 11psi and they look somewhat flat when i pull up to the line. no issues with stability. only reason i drop mph is the fact that the slick is a 22x8x15 which is shorter than my street tires.
Can you tie down your rear suspension like the GTP guys do?

like nick said we used the spring blocks. I only lost traction 1 time really bad and it shoots the car all over the place because traction swaps from left spinning to right spinning back to left untill they hook or i let off.
I guess i’ll run on the victoracers for this weekend. I will just have to fix my E brake so I can really heat them up. I am just afrade they are at their traction limits based on feal and the sound in the video on my hardest launch (8psi) in the last run. All of first gear sounds like ripping velcro.
Well your running tires with a hard sidewall for road racing…The compound may be soft but the tire is not designed to create good traction on launch…
I would just wait till you get a real set of drag radials/slicks instead running these and risk breaking and not being able to beat the record this year.
