Well im lookin to have some work done on my 1989 700r4 to better mate it to with my 383 with spray. Were should I go and why? i plan to do a shift kit, lockup kit, vette servo and stall converter. i have everything but the converter.
I would also recommend a z pac for the 3-4 clutches.You might also want to step up to a superior servo .
only place i’d take it is Dave/Carl at Comp Transmissions in NT. may cost you a bit but in the end you’ll be happy.
I’d have Carl @ Competion do the convertor, & have Ryan @ Red Line in Lockport do the 700R4-he is very well versed on the upgrade’s needed on that trans for it to survive. Red Line-433-8407, tell’em Dan Marvin refered ya.
I took mine to Kevin @ R&R 372-9615. He’s the best guy around for performance stuff.
